Katie + James’ August Shuswap wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings that I have been a part of to date! From the earthy, lush florals to the romantic, sentimental ceremony, this gorgeous August wedding was simply stunning! Free-spirited, bohemian brides are my absolute favourite to work with and Katie was the most beautiful bride both inside and out.

From the moment I arrived at Katie and James’ gorgeous Shuswap Lake wedding venue (which was a family cabin right on the water!) I was overwhelmed with how much thought and detail went into every aspect of their day.

Katie got ready in one of the cabins on the property with her bridesmaids, mother and mother in law and we looked out onto the gorgeous Shuswap Lake while getting everyone ready for the ceremony.

From the lush, green florals to Katie’s gorgeous dress, her entire look came to look so beautifully as her and her bridesmaids began to get ready to walk down the aisle. Katie and I focused on a soft, romantic bridal look that would highlight her gorgeous brown eyes and a beautiful nude lip to keep the look very timeless.

A pair of fluffy false lashes paired with warm brown eyeshadows and a soft contour was all Katie needed to look like an absolutely radiant bride and I was so honoured to be her bridal makeup artist.

Brides like Katie remind me exactly why weddings have, and always will be, my biggest passion within my business. Clients who are as kind, compassionate and loving as Katie are the reason I do what I do, and being a small part of Katie + James’ day made my heart so happy.
